Can I cancel at any point?

Absolutely! Not only can you cancel but we'll let you continue to have access until your original subscription is fulfilled.

We do update courses though, so you may have to rejoin for any new information or alterations from CPT and other entities.

Is the CME Accredited?

The American Academy of Family Physicians Credit System and the Commission on Continuing Professional Development has APPROVED all courses provided by Make Medical Billing Simple, LLC. All courses are required to receive accreditation prior to being published.

I saw a video, where's my CME?

In order to be awarded CME credit, it is necessary to complete the pre-course and the post-course quizzes.

Once this is complete, an automatic email will be sent with the certifying information and evidence.

I am not a Family Physician, do I still get CME?

OF COURSE! We desire to positively affect the lives of all health care providers. Thus you'll be happy to know that:

"AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1."

What increase in payments should I expect?

Great question! Well, it all depends in how proficient you are from the start.

Let's say you bill 10 level 3 visits (99213) a day, and turns out you learn that 5 of them actually level 4s (99214). Turns out you'd be missing out on around $200 A DAY. Working 20 days a month? That is $4,000 a month extra in your pocket by simply billing correctly.

What are the legal pitfalls you mention?

With every change or requirement alteration that is published by CPT and other entities, there are small yet incredibly important details that need to be documented or need to take place in order to make a code valid for payment.

For example, did you know that in order to bill a level 1 visit (99211) the provider does not have to see the patient but DOES need to be in the building and cannot just phone in?

Well, making mistakes such as these can actually lead to costly outcomes in the case of an audit. We aim to prevent that.

Why are there different courses instead of a single course?

Your subscription gives you access to all courses. The design of this program is intended to allow you to maximize your time while permitting a much desired flexibility. As each course has a specific goal and intention, by having different options, you are allowed to narrow down on your desired interest and receive CME credit for it.

Are these courses up to date?

Absolutely!

Our team has updated the courses to the new CPT guidelines that started on January 1, 2023.
